The redoubtable Basantdevi charitable Trust (Regd. 3/91, dated 20th Apr. 1991) devices its name from the venerable smt.Late Basantadevi, the beloved mother of Sri B.K.Panda, its chief architects, Managing Trustee and founder Trustee respectively. The Trust has been spreading education among the negelcted and the down-trodden in the far-flung tribal areas of the state, right from the primary upto the postgraduate level. It is a trust for which upliftment of the poor has virtually become a passion.
