We encourage student to visit MITS School of Biotechnology Campus to meet students and faculty.Visits may be scheduled when the institute is in session. Candidates/Parents may contact the Director or Administrative Officer for scheduling the visit.The campus is located on a beautiful landscaped garden area, Bhubaneswar at Infi city in a pollution and noise free environment.
Accommodation
Separate Hostels for boys and girls, are made available in and around the posh Sailasree Vihar locality, close to the institute.
Canteen
A contractor -run canteen on the campus offers launch.snacks,tea,cofee and cold drinks at reasonable prices on all working days.
Medical & First Aid
First aid is available in the institute. However, in the event of any serious madical requirements, students are advised to inform the administration so that nacessary arrangements for their medical aid can be made
Transport
The instrute has arranged buses/vans for the benifit of students from strategic in the city so that they can attend thair classes regularly and punctually .The vehiclews will be operaped according to the specified time schedule from a starting point with stop-over at points en-route . Students Who avail the transport facility will have to pay a transportation fee to recover costs which will be in addition to the fee structure.
Discipline &Attendance
The integrity and behavior of the students is very important.The students are expected to conduct themselves in a manner befitting a responsible citizen.While inculcating these attributes, the institute ce both regular and punctual in there attendance.The institute expects cent every student. However, the minimum requirement of attendance fixed by the university is binding .
Working Days
The institute will run six days a week from monday to saturday.Sunday is the weekly day off.In addition holiday are observed as per the schedule of Utkaluniversity.

Computer center.
The library has a “State-of –the-Art”Computer lab with 60 computer terminals on local area network(LAN)connected to Windows 2003 Server and Linux Server.All computers are of pentium-IV based machines and IBM Server as the ackbone of the Network.The computer lab services are available to the students from early morning till late evenning hours ,which facillitates extensive use for project and research work.The internet lab provides necessary exposure and helps the students to access data/information as well as to communicate with the rest of the world in no time.In addition to ISDN Line(128kbps),the institute plans to haveLeased Line shortly.
Library
The library houses a large collection of books and journals , including the latest publications in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics as well as related subjects and focuses on information Technology and E-Commerce.The current stock of both foregin & Indian titles is arround 4,500 . Basides the Library subscribes to over 50 National journals and over 30 statistical data sources , and project reports done in about 200 major companies.A digital library whuch is going to be setup shortly will expand our scope to store virtually dimitless information.
